You can ignore most of the Napoli player links, IMO. I mean we might sign 1, but I doubt it.

Plus we have Ancelotti now, hes not a young manager, he will need ready cooked players that perform NOW, rather than works in progress, IMO we have more than enough works in progress.

But I agree, signing the likes of Mertens, who is a wonderful little player, but is also 33 at the start of next season and has never played in the league, would be a silly mistake.

I kind of think you need a balance of youth and experience. In general I think we have more older than younger players in the squad. I don't mind signing older players of good quality for low transfer fees. But in January you tend to pay quite large fees for players, unless they have short contracts.

That's no option at all.

Put the money toward the lad at Hearts. He's a bit like Hansen *spit*. Looks like him and has that same ground coverage. Could play anywhere in defence of midfield, IMO.

Young lad for the future we should look at is the 17 year old Hearts LB, Aaron Hickey.

Looks a real prospect that lad, and City are sniffing around for his signature.

Yeah but we will be looking to punt most of our older players I would imagine.
