....from what I’ve seen of the Santos player, he lacks a bit of pace. Pointless spending £7m on a player just because he’s cheap.

....not slow, but looks to me that he doesn’t carry the pace we need at the back. He might be better than we have to accompany Mina and I suppose a loan would at least determine if he’s what we need.
