Think Mitrovic is alright me, Not the most glamorous of players but he'd do a decent job with Digne's superb crossing, Fulham would ask for an extortionate price for him though.

Fulham are 7th and 4 points behind the leaders. Fulham would be advised to keep a hold of him and try and get back up to the premier league as soon as possible. If they don't do it this season, they'd be open to offers. However, I just can't see him being an Everton player unless there was a really far fetched and contrived set of circumstances.

Oh I'm not demanding Everton to go get him in Jan, Just think he's a decent player since many think he's garbage.

The problem is we have zero clue what style of play we are going for which makes it harder when signing a CF.

Brands signed Kean to play more to feet

Silva has played largely crosses into the box

West ham we played more to feet

He'd do a job, but I think he's probably in a place that suits his talents now. I honestly don't know have a clue what our striker policy is at the moment. Niasse is junk. Tosun is not suited to our style of play. DCL is ok, but not at the required level at this time in his career, and we have Kean who is not someone we can rely on 20-30 goals a season. I honestly have no idea who our targets are. In fact I can see two outgoings from that position and not much more than that.

I really hope that Brands and Silva have a number 9 up their sleeves for January.

I was saying that for awhile. If the aim is to whip crosses in to the box why didn't we get a Bas Dost or Dzeko type player?

I'll be happy when they figure out what they want to do one way or another.

....funny that, I thought Richarlison ran the channels really well against West Ham. Peeling off the shoulders of defenders and being a nuisance running them down the sides, something i’d hope Kean would be really good at given his pace and power.

A CF leads the line, he’s an out ball for defenders who play it into him or beyond him to run defenders. Crosses into the box are a great source of goals. It’s where you deliver crosses from that matters, especially if we get behind full backs. The more of that, the better. It’s a very productive route that any striker thrives on.

He’s decent in a lesser team that play to his strengths, considering we can’t get any service to our CF never mind goals from them, I think he’d be a whipping boy in no time.

I think the he’s the CF equivalent to our managerial appointments, no real ambition just an average joe who’ll do Okay.

Given there's no way i'd imagine we'll get a top quality striker in during the Jan window, i'd take an early addition CB and leave it at that.

Weird to say I know but i'm sick of transfers. I'd like to see us actually develop some of the players we've got.
Agreed. However someone else mentioned this so I can’t take credit. Trying to win the u23 seems to be overshadowing player development.

Again I don’t have info to back this thought but the OP had some good points.

in last few years just not really seen anything worth value come through.
