BBC Scottish news were saying a couple of £7M bids have been turned down by Rangers (one of them likely to have been Liverpool and an English Championship club with money to spend) but that Rangers are holding out for £10M or thereabouts.

£10M for him? Do me a ****ing favour. Thankfully it puts him waaaay out of our price range (assuming we still have a range over a million quid, that is!).

Are you surprised? Pat Nevin said a few weeks back hed cost about 7mill. But if theres interest, it'll bump the price up.

I am surprised yes. I've seen him a few tmes this season and he drifts in and out of games against the likes of St Johnstone and Kilmarnock - he certainly isn't one you'd say looks like a stand out who doesn't belong in that league. I cant see too many PL defenders having trouble containing him. I sincerely hope Liverpool up their offer and land him. It'd be Dalglish's style to pay an outrageous amount for a, at best, mediocre player.

what about a bid for Anthony Stokes not a bad player can score goals, can't be any worse than saha or Strq
he is also young he is as good as Jelavic and has score as many goals wouldn't cost near the money Rangers are looking for
