Our manager is Sean Dyche, we have numerous ex Burnley players (some have been relegated with Burnley). We are joint bottom of the league and currently an unattractive team to join (like Burnley).

We are not Burnley but we need to accept that currently we are similar in many ways.

Burnley (with Dyche) escaped relegation numerous times over the year. We should be asking the question…. “What would Burnley do”?
Look at the players Saints, Leeds, Wolves and Bournemouth are being linked with and signing. They are smaller clubs within 3 points of us. If we end up with Antonio and Fraser the honeymoon period ends immediately before the first game even starts

I'm not saying that. I'm saying we are scraping the bottom of the barrel for signings and I thought Antonio played well against us last week
Again, playing well against Everton isn’t selling it I’m afraid….bang average player.

Why should we be scraping the barrel with incoming funds from Gordon.

We should be aiming higher is all I’m saying.

Realistically given how low our stock is at the moment you would imagine we should be targeting younger players who can afford to spend 18 months developing here before hopefully moving on to a bigger club.
We won’t get much value out of the established player market at present and may endanger future progression by filling our wage bill with substandard players. Again!
No adviser will allow a young high potential to develop under Dyche. We are in the cast off market

If that happens and I pray it doesn't, then we've learnt nothing, someone needs to tell our owners/ Chaiman/ Board/ Recruiment team/ Scouts that WE can actually look outside the premier league for new players. It's just laughable, insane.

Absolute laziness though isn't it, we are talking to Newcastle - so go "who have you got" - no coherence or no plan.

I tend to look at height too. I know he wont be played as a target man. But 5'4" in the PL. Maybe it's a bit of bias on my part, but I think you need players who are capable of all kinds of challenges.

….I think the problem with Simms is he can’t play for another club this season. Once he had a 10min cameo off the bench for us, it limited his game time to us or Sunderland. Not very clever but what you’d expect from our hierarchy.

Moyes has stated Antonio is staying put this month
ok thought it was the same like many others recalled from their loan spell but you cant indeed play for 3 clubs in a season.
not too bothered as Simms will be a player for Dyche

Aiming higher? Like who? Which higher pedigree player is going to come to a relegation threatened club. Reality mate.

Bournemouth, Leeds, Nottingham Forest for example are signing better players than us mate and they are in the same predicament mate, think fans are asking the board to give us a chance, show a little bit of ambition, not much to ask is it.
