We need to make two shrewd signings, two loans and maybe a small cash buy this window, a wide forward who can create and score and a target man/no 9, and if we can possibly shift anyone like Keane, we need a creative midfielder because Iwobi can't do it all on his own. It's a very difficult window but its a big window for our survival.

Any money spent on McNeil or Maupay is a waste of money.
Burnley we’re laughing real hard in disbelief when we bought him. It shows our lack of managerial experience coming from thelwell and lampard.

That's a very long way of saying we spent 35 million on forwards in the summer, and that they're so bad that we need to replace them in January.

They really weren’t considering they needed money in the summer so accepted such a small fee up top

He's spoken about needing forwards in January, clearly to replace the forwards that are currently available to him.

The only excuse that Lampard has left is that the forwards that he has available to him aren't good enough, and that he needs to buy yet more forwards to give him a chance.

Or, and bear with me with this, he’s looking at HELPING our forward options, considering we interchange Gordon, McNeil and Gray without extra options for the wide positions

So he's saying that the forwards he bought a few months ago aren't good enough, and that he wants more money to buy yet more forwards.

It's the only excuse he has left. Some buy it, I don't. We need a better manager.

If he’s said that point to a quote saying as such, if he’s looking at forwards (which we’d be stupid not to even say if we were doing well) that it means he’ll want extra options to give us something different in certain games, we don’t have that atm because all we can do is interchange the 3 we have

We have more than 3 forwards, we have centre forwards as well. It's not a quantity issue, it's a quality, coaching, managerial issue.

It's also me saying we need more creativity and we didn't have much of a budget to put down the money up front to buy quality in forward areas, that's partly why we bought them because they fitted our budget and they were probably seen as squad players, but yes I wouldn't have bought them. Maupay was the wrong profile I don't think he's a bed player just the wrong profile he's more or a Naismith type who plays off a front man we needed a number nine who was good in the air or who can make their own chances with power or a wide man with pace and threat When you look at our forward line whoever you play it's three inconsistent squad players with a lack of threat. But as i said its deeper than that who makes the chances beyond Iwobi? If we had DCL up there right now we wouldn't be making many chances for them due to the personnel and tactics.
