Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the whole point of a director of football to make the signings? So, if a manager is to leave the style and approach isn't impacted and vision is maintained. Our DOF has managed to sell Clare Balding for less than what we could have got in the summer (If rags are to be believed). This leaves us even worse off from an attacking point of view haha.
