If we were a safe mid-table team with a couple of proven, ok goal scorers, getting Gallagher would be great, as he is 10 times better than any midfielder we have and can created a lot of chances. But 45m is way too much, blows our budget and still leaves us catastrophically weak up front.

….when it’s a low bar, I think that’s the wrong line to take. We always want better but there has to be a minimum requirement. He might be fine but he’s made a few howlers when I’ve watched him.
