January Transfer Window 2023

How on earth do some of you guys watch these players. You surely can’t have partners.

I get daggers if I’ve got Aston Villa v Spurs on telly, never mind Union Berlin v Augsburg.
I was in Germany last week to watch Augsburg….. wouldn’t want any players from that team.

Although they are very much the Everton of the Bundesliga this season.

Other clubs in January - sign players
Everton - buy shin pads.
As Bill said.....the other Boards will follow.
This time next year Jim White and the Alex Crook biff will be redundant and the shinny-makers will be rolling in it.
Levy, FSG, the Glazers, the horse-punching Saudi's and the dudes at Citeh will be sat round their respective Board Room tables panicking....and then rleaxing having calming questioned themselves with "what would Everton do".

World leaders in progressive football business processes. All hail Bill.

My only objection is the same as my from observations as to how we comes across in interviews.

He’s very simple.

That may be a good thing, but I’m not feeling it. I wish I was.
These players have gotten their own way far to much. Being allowed to drive out of Goodison will get your car legged, Dyce will have them all going back to Finch Farm on the team bus as it should be.

Conor Gallagher interest proof Everton are not messing around

Sky Sports News' Mark McAdam:
"There have been numerous Premier League sides that have enquired to Chelsea about the availability of Conor Gallagher permanently and on loan.
"We can reveal that Everton and Chelsea are having talks with regards to the midfielder Conor Gallagher. Everton are willing to pay £40m plus add-ons for the services of the 22-year-old. He's made 25 appearances for Chelsea this season.
"Of course, he had that really successful loan last season at Crystal Palace where he scored 8 Premier League goals in 35 starts. He's a key player for Chelsea, a key player for Graham Potter, but with all of Chelsea's spending, at some stage they're going to have to bring something in.
"It's significant because Sean Dyche is now at the helm (of Everton), and he is leading the charge to try and sign Conor Gallagher who he feels could really add to that Everton setup.
"He's the type of player that Everton fans would want to see go to Goodison Park because not only has he got Premier League experience, he's young, he's exciting, he's on the fringes of being around Gareth Southgate's England squad.
"The fact that Everton are trying to speak to a player of his calibre suggests that they are not going to be messing around in this transfer window."

Not going to lie, I actually laughed when I read that headline.

Club really needs to do something tomorrow. Just expecting Dyche to reel off 6-7 wins from his first 10 games with these chumps is delusion personified.

Think Weston McKennie is a top signing for Leeds. Him and Tyler Adams is 2/3 of the midfield that dominated England at the World cup. Wolves signed plenty this window and Forest had made some really intelligent signings and are in good form regardless.

Not looking too clever really and regardless of opinions on Gordon he was still a regular first 11 player so simply has to be replaced with someone who has decent top level experience in next 24 hours.

Also with confirming Dyche so late will he just sign off the targets club have perhaps pursued in last few weeks or will he at last minute ask for 2-3 which may not have been on the club's radar previously?

The summer window looked on paper pretty decent with Tarks, Coady, Onana, Gana and Maupay but after an o.k start it hasn't translated into results at all so it's a big ask to get everything right in one day.
