I’m thinking it’ll be the names we’ve heard all window, Elanga, Antonio, Gyokeres and Sulemana have been the constant links. Think at least 2 of those will be in and maybe pulling one out of a hat.

Can see Andre Ayew and Ryan Fraser on loan. We will have the worst squad in the league on paper when the window shuts. Our survival chances will be based on Dyche being able to out coach the other contenders

He was making the hypothetical argument that if we dont spend and stay up the board would have been proven right in their financial prudence this season and an argument - theoretically - could be made for their continuation as a professional body making sound decisions.

It's a specious debate though, as not spending will almost certainly end us as a PL club and the financial implications would be catastrophic.
