Why?

Surely some of the Gordon money can be reinvested?

If it can’t, can you explain why it can’t?
As mentioned on the space, there are at least 2 major factors (i) there's no guarantee buying a player is any more effective than receiving a loan player, and if we were to be relegated then buying a permanent player is a much worse decision than returning a loan player, and (ii) there's no guarantee that funding is in place for the next stadium obligations. The 2 factors combined may represent a stronger case for loans rather than purchases

This lad was born to play for Everton. Imagine the fume when this happens again.

Forget Tall Paul...I'd be doing this if I saw that in person at Goodison

Surely though the quality of a player bought should be better than one you would get on loan otherwise every team would go for a loan every time , must be desperate now if Everton are challenging footballi science to blag head why there not buying anyone hahahah

Well, looks like we will know by this time tomorrow if we are 100% going down or not. A couple of quality additions and we might just have enough to get out of this mess. A couple of desperate loans and we are sunk. Especially with every team around us having strengthened already.

So we shouldn’t buy players because we could get relegated….what?…

You are aware of how football works and that, yeah? As in you bring in better players with the express purpose of NOT getting relegated. That’s kinda the point.
