I don't see how Yerry Mina is going to bag a big move on a bosman in the summer when if he's frozen out by us after Christmas and hasn't played since October or something. No club in their right mind would put a sizeable contract on the table to him after being out of action for a good 8-9 months. We need to be telling him right now that he's on the market and his best move would be to find a new club. We won't get much for him, but anywhere between £5m-10m might be achievable.

Michael Keane, get him listed and touted about too - he'd bring in £10m if we find the right sucker for him.

£15m there, buys you a half decent striker that if you shop from abroad. We're not looking for the next Benzema here, just somebody who can score 5-8 goals after Christmas would be absolutely fine.

What we spend now,
We still have till June 30th to balance this years accounts. I can see Pickford going in the summer and one of DCL/Gordon add in 7/8 out of contract players, Gomes/gbamin/dele will have a year left and hopefully we can sell a few fringe players, to give us a decent budget

I dont even think 15m gets you a Striker from The Championship these days,

We paid 12m for Maupay, that gives you an indication of what 15m gets you.

Please dont list every player under 15m.

I would argue championship is a slightly inflated market compared to european leagues of a similar quality. I could lists some names I thought were smart targets over the summer at that price point at striker. If you shop on the continent and are willing to get someone on a bit of the rawer end, it's low but feasible and a price we would be wise to target.

Exactly. We can spend now and sell Pickford in the summer but before the 1st of July. Both the Russian and Turkey international goalkeepers are available for free on 1st July, either would make a good replacement.

Agree.I read on EvertonNews site Juve want a swop .Moise Kean , ours to Toon for Wood.
He or Kean aint Champions League 9's.
So they might be offering Wood plus cash to us to settle their£27million debt to us for Kean.
If Chris Wood came to us on the 1st Jan that would immefiately improve us, more options, insurance for Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Imagine that pair up front.AG ,DG either flank.

Idiots are saying £30million for Pickford to Spurs.
Howdo they work that out, a loss to us bought him for £37 million.
Eddison, Allison both North of £100million, the lad at Chelsea £130million.
JP is worth £70milllion on current basis against that.

If we get 70m for Pickford you can spank my arse and call me Judy.

Agree with this a lot. Used to be you could get a championship player relatively cheap. West Ham got Bowen for, what, £30m? Watford wanted £40m for Sarr?

I've blamed Spurs for starting that with what they paid for Bentley.

We paid 33m for Onana, imagine if he was a Striker? Would have been double that.

Of course there are bargains to be had, many of them, if you look hard enough, has anything regarding Evertons transfer policy of the last 7 years shown that we look hard?

No, this is the problem. We don’t need to live in a world where £15m gets us Neal Maupay. We really don’t have to live in that world. Julian Alvarez cost the same amount.
