Think we'll lash a mad bid in for someone completely off the radar.

The problem is, the pool of players that would say “okay, then,” to such a mad bid has narrowed massively.

We are a less attractive prospect right now than we have ever been in the Premier League era. Even more so than our crises in the 90s. At least then the aura of the 80s hadn’t entirely faded.

There are so many "how did we get from there to here" questions when I think about Everton's recent history. Been watching the team get worse and worse by degrees for the last 10 years, until we're bottom of the league and players are choosing Southampton over us.
