It's not like we aren't trying, our targets are all choosing other clubs. What can you do in that case? The fans decided to kick off and every agent and their dog is saying don't touch them with a barge pole.

In that case how much are you prepared to overpay to get someone in to the point financially they haven't got a choice? (which we have been guilty in the past and just creates a squad of mercenaries)

Or how far down the list of alternatives do you go to the point they are just new faces at the club but not an upgrade.

There will be a couple of signings, we never announce deals until at least 4pm on deadline day..... They seem to love the Drama and having the fans sweat and rage throughout the day. Doubt we were in for any of these players apart from the guy going to Southampton. Stay positive, if we literally announce no new signings today then will fully join in on the meltdown on here.

No but those clubs are not utter basket cases like us, and the likes of Jones want to play proper football not old fashioned 4-4-2 hoof ball.
