That is not what the poster above was referring to though. He is doing a Zat and expecting us to bring in a named striker, we don't have that sort of money. We are going to shopping in the Championship or lower leagues of Europe imo. I'm not sure I trust the club to identify talent either tbh, not exactly got a great track record for it, I certainly don't want us spending £35m on Sarr I know that.
Panick!!listen to the wrong people inside the club.
Frank should be buying.Well if he beats Wolves, draw v City or defeat , no hammering.
Beats Brighton.Beats Utd FA Cup.Beats Southampton.
Give him the cheque book.
Lose v Wolves, sacked maybe.
Lose v City , likely.
Lose to Brighton, Nailed on hes clearing his desk.
But for Gods sake, not Martinez.
Sam, Duncan.
Or go dull Sion Dyche??Stable, dull , tough to beat, safe.

Absolutely welcome him in.
Id love to be at Finch Farm meeting with the players the morning he takes charge.
Simple, you got the club in this mess, the previous manager, coaches.
Their not here now, you are, iam .

We dont pass it backwards, sideways to begin with.
Sam has a method to make life very difficult for the opposition.
The ball goes into their box a lot, plays in their third a lot.
Defends really well.
No he wont beat all, but he will hoover up enough points.
Other sides, players, managers know they were in for a tough game.

Get him in.Get us to safety.
Ask him what he can deliver for the club, the fans the club.
Pride, Respect, a tough bad arse outfit.
Maybe a trophy, be competitive in the Premier League.

Get him in, give him a chance of redemption, tgen a say on who takes over.5years , longer .
Van Gal is 72.

Are you literally having a conversation with yourself?

“You know what mate that’s a class idea!” as I stare into a mirror

What quality striker is coming to sign for 17th place Everton, please give some names?
I'm not paid to give names, nor to I work as a director of football or scout whose job it is to identify suitable and attainable targets. Like mentioned above, wages will turn us into an attractive proposition. No doubt at all about that.

Kevin Campbell disagrees!
We bought him from Turkey, but fair enough from a relatively poor team. But that's it, he was a one in a million type. Well, him and Marcus Bent are two who you'd never have guessed would have been as effective as they were.

But you can't back on these type of players to be a success. If you're desperate, and if money is available, you have to go and get as proven a striker as possible.

£100k a week will attract many players.

We can't pay someone big wages though, we need to reduce our wage bill not increase it. Also you must have some idea of who you want to see. At the moment we are linked with the likes of Gyokeres at Coventry and Diaz from Blackburn and Cunha (who doesn't actually score any goals) That is the market we will be shopping in most likely.

We can ship out Keane, Mina and Doucoure and that's over £200k a week saved. Lash £100k of that on a striker and we've already saved a good few million per year on wages. None of those players need replacing either. But yes, I do agree that the type of striker we're in for will not be in the £100k a week wages and more likely one of those you've mentioned. And we'll probably go down because of it.

Nobody is going to buy those players mate, Keane has been linked with a loan move (which I reckon will happen) but he still has 2 1/2 years of a contract left so he isn't getting sold as such. Mina is a crock and will go when his contract is up. Doucoure is really not very good and I don't see another PL club coming in for him but he is another who is on a large wage.
