Why do we get on DBB’s back constantly? She literally has nothing to do with the football side of the club as far as I am aware. Done a lot of great work with the community and stadium too.

Probably not if Palace want to do a loan, but I’m not sure they have much incentive to do so. Is he better than Simms? Probably, he looked okay in a couple of matches last season that I watched but I think he’s mostly anonymous. Would be a warm body upfront at least.

We had danjuma in the bag until last week when he shafted us, we couldn’t have done anymore in that regard.

Players we have right now imo with the correct coaching which they now will hopefully get, have enough to finish above 3 teams this season I think.

I for one can think Danjuma is a complete nobhead but he also showed more pragmatism than the entire board. Go to Everton in the relegation scrap and no manager? Look around for a better offer? Complete prick, but not a moron prick in this situation.

There are 4 possible explanations for this I can think of and I'm not sure which is the worst:
1. They've really tried and did all the right things but, given the many challenges the club is facing, no players want to sign for us.
2. They've accepted relegation is probable, and decided not pay over the odds to buy in more crap players who are unlikely to keep us up and will only hamstring or finances further as we seek to get promoted at the first attempt.
3. We really are in more of a financial hole than we realise and the money from Gordon was needed to keep us afloat
4. Everyone at the club is an utter imbecile who can barely manage to stay alive, let alone run a business.

There have been plausible rumours floating around for a few months that we have no realistic way of avoiding falling foul of the prem's ffp rules in the next cycle (and an almost certain points deduction) short of selling Gordon and pulling the purse strings tight.

I think we can now take that as confirmed.

That or, as you say, they are all complete imbeciles.......and there is plenty of evidence for that too
