Tonight has just sucked the life out of me. I was hoping this window would save us. New manager in Gordon out. Go get a ST RM desperately and maybe a CM or Lb if we could and we would scrap enough together to get out of trouble. Instead we have a weaker squad than what we had before January and we are already 19th in the league. It’s just sad what we have become.

the one bright spot is that, if we did buy someone, they would probably turn out to be crap

if we end up forced to play kids - because there is no money to buy crap and no more dead wood in the squad - we would probably benefit from it

He’s been a premier league manager for about 10 years mate and a relative success given what he’s had to work with.

Compared to lampards 2 failed attempts and 12 month long premier league career.

Realistically though Lampard had a higher profile.
It isn’t Dyche’s fault but I doubt he’d be a ‘difference maker’ with many players.

This is what Bobble has recently alluded to - agents are pushing their clients towards Everton because the club is such a basket case.
