the one bright spot is that, if we did buy someone, they would probably turn out to be crap

if we end up forced to play kids - because there is no money to buy crap and no more dead wood in the squad - we would probably benefit from it
agreed - what half decent player would want to walk into this toxic mess and it has to be said getting abused in side streets doesn't help. Only option is to get behind dyche and those left here and pray

Just seeing other terrible prem teams buying and loaning players, not saying I have an opinion on them but how have we not been able to bring in one player

We all knew Everton would let us down in this window but I don't think even the most pessimistic thought it would be THIS bad.

Honestly, I can't even imagine the rage you lot over there are feeling. There isn't a word I can think of that accurate depict the total and complete incompetence of just about everyone at the club. Even the tea lady has been serving cold tea from accounts.

No, it isnt. Look at how we are run, the way we go through managers, looks at how the board treats the fans. Things are coming to a head. As the bobble said on spaces just now, we’re a basket case and agents will be actively telling their players to avoid Everton, and he’s right. Sean Dyche hasn’t done a thing wrong apart from being the guy who will get slaughtered and thrown under the bus by this board when the inevitable happens.
Hiring Dyche makes the case that we should be avoided stronger! It's amazing that people can't see this.

Think it has all been said, have moved from a position of concern and anger to total apathy. Our board are a disgrace and have no knowledge and skills to keep up with the demands of overseeing a club in the premiership. Sadly I don’t even think they gave the skills to do it in the championship either!

Do you think Sulemana and Onuachu know who Nathan Jones is (Southampton manager)?

I think the manager, DOF / chief executive, etc have done a better job of getting a fee agreed and convincing the player to come to their club

I saw one report which said the major issue Everton were having was their inability to offer high wages. It makes sense as it would explain why players like Sulemana would turn our offer down over Southampton.

I doubt he has any idea who Dyche or Jones are but was probably just going off the terms on offer.

I think we're screwed financially, just rather than admit it the board is trying to treat us like we're all stupid.

I think dyche can make a difference but we needed reinforcements since carlo left (I won’t say his name who made it worse), we’ve lost everything we had…digne, richi, james, sigurdsson and not brought in any form of replacements. It’s not just richi.

Part of that convincing is surely "we'll make you better as a player" and you can't point to Dyche and say he'll do that

How do you think he got Burnley promoted and kept in the Premier League for so long if he wasn’t improving players? He had hardly any transfer or wage budget so he clearly wasn’t buying ready made players.
