That's fair but I dont think we were good enough or winning enough matches to focus on stadiums.

Its been Moshiri's priority ever since he came here.. if you're priority in football is ever anything other than the next game, you'll be found out. We are learning the hard way.
The stadium shouldn’t have had any impact on our ability to remain a stable midtable club at the very least. Things have gone wrong because as well as building the stadium we’ve spunked ridiculous amounts on dross, which was so easily avoidable. There’s no reason why we had to hold off on the stadium to concentrate on the team, we just needed to not mess it up to the quite astonishing extent that we have.

Seriously FFP is nothing anymore
FFP is the reason they're giving out lengthy contracts. Spread the cost over 8 years accounts.

It's literally because of FFP that they are doing this. It's a massive risk in the long term though that may well bite them on the arse 3 or 4 years down the line if their 'investments' don't work out. That's why it bit us on the arse - our investments were shockingly bad and meant we had to take severe steps to balance the books a few years down the line.

We’ve got to face it we were going to have some very quiet transfer windows after spending so much then have the issues with FFP, I was a surprised we signed so many players in the summer and I was happy with the squad and I still think the squad is good enough to stay up. But Franks way has certainly left us in a mess, im sure Dyches way will be much more fruitful.
This has nothing to do with FFP and more to do with serious cash flow issues within the club. Either asset stripping or we are going into administration. The FFP narrative is part of the big lie

Apparently according to the latest staff list, some fella called Dan Purdy is responsible for Scouting and Operations. Suppose the train strikes will come into play at some stage as excuse fodder.

True , all linked to Usmanov and Moshiri wanting out but needing the stadium finished . It’s not going to be pretty but they will be gone once the stadium is finished I reckon. Going to be a tough 2 years and will get worse before it gets better.

There will be changes on the board now, I’m absolutely convinced and you can bookmark me here.

There is going to be so much strife over this that there will be sacrifices, someone is definitely taking the fall for this.

I think they will change the rules to stop this though.

Yep he let when Brands left and Everton brought him back.

Just a thought, but I do wonder whether the board leak of threats and the twitter images of players leaving Goodison surrounded by fans, generally alongside the disarray within the club has been enough for agents to advise their players against joining. Evens Joorbachian said on Talksport he did not have any players in his portfolio was right for Everton at this moment in time
