January Transfer Window 2023

I think Lampard moving to a 4 instead of a 5 at the back will see Keane or/and Mina moved on especially if we can recall Branthwaite and make Coady permanent.

Coady, Tarkowski, Godfrey, Holgate and Branthwaite that's enough cover plus the savings on wages only boost the pot

Reports that Borna Sosa (Left back at Stuttgart) and Matheus Cunha (Forward at Atletico) are both available on cut-price deals in the January transfer window

Sosa would be hard as I reckon he's 100% good enough to play for a Champions League side but Cunha could be possible on a loan

…terrific player, better than we have here at the moment. I never got that he blew a gasket after 60mins & even if he did, it was worth having him on the pitch for an hour.
He has asthma to be fair to him. I remember at half time he came back onto the pitch, and came over to the paddock and took a pull of his inhaler and threw it to the side before the second half kicked off.

Cunha looked very good in Germany.

Should give psv branthwaite in exchange for that forward who’s handy

Or we could develop Branthwaite (who has enormous potential) and sell 2 or 3 other centre backs to pay for a new signing.
