Very, very good point. Im onboard.I think it's more because he's shown his talent in a world cup and champions league mate. He doesn't rush everything, doesn't seem to panic on the ball. His goal against Rangers at Ibrox he just's just calm on the ball. He's also really positive in possession no matter where he is in the pitch. How safe are we on the ball within our front 3?
We also see Demari Gray every week...
At the time neither Tottenham or Arsenal were bigger I’d argue they still aren’t. They have just been more successful recently.Pienaar and Arteta left us for "bigger" clubs???
That wasn’t their motivation for joining thoughPienaar and Arteta left us for "bigger" clubs???
We were regularly fighting for Europe when we had Arteta and Pienaar and both went on to leave us for clubs in the Champions league.Don’t agree

Not sure I'd be confident getting inside the head of these players tbh. Maybe they seemed happy because their plan to join a stepping stone club was working so well? That wasn’t their motivation for joining though
They were very happy it seemed.
Everton are as big a club as Arsenal and Spurs, that what your saying? I dont buy into the Spurs are a top club thing at all, but Arsenal are massive, and always have beenAt the time neither Tottenham or Arsenal were bigger I’d argue they still aren’t. They have just been more successful recently.
Got no issue with any player seeing us as a stepping stone, right now we are one, if they didn't they wouldn't be any good.
Absolutely, but some players a happy to come to Everton not just as a stepping stoneWe were regularly fighting for Europe when we had Arteta and Pienaar and both went on to leave us for clubs in the Champions league.
The reality is, right now we’re a club fighting relegation and will continue to be so until we no longer are.

Yeah exactly, Arsenal were always big but we were always as big. Certainly all the time I was growing up. They pulled away in terms of success in the premier league era. But a new stadium and some success in league and cup and we would be right back alongside them. The fan base is no bigger at Arsenal.Everton are as big a club as Arsenal and Spurs, that what your saying?
