The one thing with Kudus is that right now he's still quite raw.. big clubs might take a chance on him or they might see him as limited in a tight structured side.
Despite a few champions league games and goals at the start of the season, he was largely used from the bench by Ajax in the weeks leading up to the World Cup. He wants to go to the premier league but I can only see similar clubs to us taking a punt. He’s done nowhere near enough for a top 6/7 team taking a chance on him. I’m confident we’ll get him on loan with an obligation to buy in January

Why are you concerned about this? It’s exactly what a club in our position should be doing, signing players with big potential and ambition that we can move on for a profit in the future. Signing players on a downward trajectory who are just happy to hang around for 5 years picking up a wage is exactly how you end up in the financial mess we’re currently in.
Mate. You can get players like Pickford, Patterson, digne etc who are happy to play fur Everton and don’t see us as just a stepping stone
It’s no biggie

Exactly this. We would be better off as a club if we accepted the place we occupy in the food chain and built our strategy around it.

It's the modern world and this kind of thinking (though I suspect it's tongue in cheek) is a main reason for why we are struggling near the bottom. The world has moved on quickly since the premier league started and we haven't kept up with the changes.
Yeah, trust me mate. I know that's the way the modern world is now. I mean, Is there really any debate out there that isn't played out through 'Social media numbers'.
But that really doesn't make it any less 'cringe' to look at...

In fact nowadays you could probably put certain players above the clubs on that list, where people follow the player not the particular club..

Can you enlighten us to how else we can see how many goals somebody scores?

Do you suggest tarot cards?
I suggest at least looking up how many minutes they played since modern football has a billion subs and a player getting 30 games off the bench is obviously different than 30 starts. Just at least do goals per 90. It's the bare minimum.

Goals per 90 is a useless stat.

Like utterly pointless.

We are a team that needs goals, Cunha for example has scored ZERO goals this season, whether hes played 9000 minutes or 90, hes of no use to us, based on his recent goal scoring record.
