Just looked into this actually, already played for Watford this season and Forest as well. Isn’t there a rule that a player can’t play for more than 2 clubs in a single season? Is that not a rule that applies across Europe or something too, how are they gonna get rid of him if that’s the case?

I thought it was a single season? He played for Watford at the start of this season in the Championship and moved to Forest then. Isn’t it the same reason recalling Simms was a bit of a worry for us because if he plays here the only place he could go back on loan to was Sunderland and no one else.

Don't think we'll be selling Doucoure based on what's being said, isn't he supposed to be negotiating a contract, not a transfer? He's allowed to talk to clubs now being in the last 6 months of his contract, could just mean that he'll get his free move sorted in the summer.

No as the club has an option to extend his contract 1 year at any time before it expires.

So it should mean we get a fee.
