He is young plus we are going to sell Keane and Doc anyway. Quite a few will be released in the summer due to contract expiry so we can afford this. We know he is not a McNeil and is a good player in the Ajax team. We need quality.

Agree and we have to buy quality players to save us not McNeil type player.

January:
Keane and Doucouré sold for £20m
Rondon and Jakupović off the book for free

Summer:
Sign Coady on perm for £4.5m
Kean £28m coming in
As expected Townsend, Coleman, Davies, Vinagre and Lonergan will be off the wage bill after contacts have expired.

I'm not enamored by that kudus. Loan with £9m option to buy was a good deal for us. £40m for a lad that doesn't start for a Dutch team is terrible business.

For that fee we could get thuram, kamada, mofi and sancho on loan.

That would be dream land obviously but these are the type of deals we should be trying for as opposed to a kid that was worth a quarter of his current asking price 6 months ago.

Hardly spent but were loosing over £100m every year.

Kenwright and dbb signing off on stupid contracts and not getting good enough sponsorship deals in to boost the clubs incomings

Ok mate I give you that. I was saying Thuram and Kamada too but what has the dol been doing in the last 6 weeks…
 
Honestly don’t understand how we can’t spend any money. I feel like we haven’t really signed anyone for years but because of mistakes from like 5 seasons ago, we now can’t buy. Yet Chelsea have gone out and spend 350m this season. It’s just so not fair is it.
