Add the expected assists he should of been expected to do and that figure means little. He maybe able to dribble but he has squandered so much good team play. If only he could assist other players the way he gets 'assisted to play.
I don't know what that means.

I'm not saying Gray is an amazing creative player, he isn't, but as it stands he's created the best quality of opportunities in the side. Last season he also created our most chances. That's a problem, because he's not particularly someone who always gets his head up - which is I think the point you're making? - or makes the right decision.

Iwobi is our most creative player in terms of quantity this season but when it comes to his xA it's lower - basically from the chances he's created that have resulted in assists, players have overperformed in terms of their finishing. Calvert-Lewin v Palace is a good example of that.

Yes I’m suggesting Lampard has no say. Why would we employ a DOF if his job is to sign all the players the manager at the time wants?
Lampard does/did have a say, though. He's even said as much.

He ultimately signed off on players just like Thelwell did.

My issue with Thelwell is since there was no HoR in then it's ultimately his remit to ensure there's adequate players to sign off on. I don't think he has done that. And he's moved too slowly as well.

Got dropped a few weeks ago and can't get back in. The lad is unfortunately a horrific defender. Quite a bad quality in a left back.

Well at least we are being proactive in getting him game time. Mad that he looked like he was gonna be pushing Digne for a couple of months.

We are an imperfect team.

People dont seem to get that, that often you can see Gray is a dangerous player, or that I would play Gordon without stating you think they are faultless.

We are a poor team. Gray has excellent ability to beat players, and has a good shot (if a bit erratic) and the rest of his game is poor. That makes him our biggest threat. For me, we have to get him playing as close to the opponents goal as possible.
