There's nothing to suggest that it won't be anything other than a deadline day loan scramble.

That's how its shaping up.

How many nails will be in the coffin by then is anyone's guess.

If things go further south they might decide not to bother with loans even.

There really is an air of fatality about things already and its shocking to think like that in the second week of January.

Why in earth are they calling themselves Brentford B? Do they think they’re a Spanish team?
Don't know the details but they stepped out of the academy system and formed this B team. So they don't play in the domestic U18 and U23 leagues and have to find other games. I think they play a lot of international tournaments instead or something

It is a B Team that's why, it's not an under 21 team Brentford don't have a youth setup. The Brentford B team is a mixed age thing that plays in a variety of friendly games and is there for them to look at players and for players to recover from injury.

That is bizarre, had no idea that was allowed.

Not having a youth setup saves them a fortune and means they can put more into their recruitment.

Surely the idea of having an academy is to make and save you money. Don’t get it myself. Even the Spanish and German teams that have B teams have academies as well. Also if Brentford ever get into Europe they’ll be absolutely knackered, as UEFA rules require each team to have 4 home grown players trained at the club for 3 years before the age of 21.

The fees for them were widely reported as £15m and £20m. Whether that's true, and what the breakdowns of the fees are, obviously we don't know, but fans aren't making it up, they're using the figures which have been used in the press. The BBC is by far the most widely read news source in the country, and they used £15m and £20m, so it's not very surprising that most people say the same.
That was the add ons from what I read. McNeil was 12 and raising to 19 with add ons. And maupay 12 raising to 15.

Was it the bbc who broke the richarlison 50mil to Everton deal, you’re right of course as some fans still think we paid 50mil for him

Dream land, pal. Kamada will go to a Champions League club and he has every right to do so.
That’s not quite true, yes maybe the top clubs who have champions league football, but he’s not joining a team who don’t get out the groups and finish 3rd in the Dutch league. At 26 his next deal will have a big financial bias imo.

Maybe he’s already done a deal to move on a free in the summer, probably juventus who love a free transfer
