The cynic in me says we’re doing neither. Their chairman is trying to drum up cash quickly, and what more convincing way to report interest in a sellable asset than by saying that Car Crash FC are about to pull another sack of doubloons out of their comedically oversized pocket?

They are but we currently have 3 naff left wingers and 0 right ones. Grays probably been our best player since the world cup which doesn't say or take much but seeing him or gordon back on the right for the next 6 months should be illegal.

Chukwueze is a better one for me. We need a right winger and he has higher upside. But he's not available for a loan I'd guess.

Danjuma’s played primarily through the middle for them I think and thats presumably why he’s been targeted, to give both options. With our restrictions he’s probably the closest in terms of style and quality we’ll come to replacing Richy.

I can feel another iteration of the Yarmolenkometer making a return for Danjuma here.

For goodness sake Everton get it done and stop flapping about before we lose him.

He hardly creates anything, especially from open play. If he’s play as one of a front 2 his main job is the score, the wide players and midfielders are there to create

Lampard has had 6 months to come up with any sort of gameplan to get a tune out of Maupay and hasn't done it so I'm not holding my breath he has some grand design on Danjuma down the middle that will lead to bags of goals

Surely he is better than anything we have got now and if he turns out to be gaff we can send him back at the end of the season. Just get it done.
