For those who are knowledgable, please remind me...

When do Everton's FFP issues realistically come to an end? When do things go 'back to normal' relatively speaking?

When we start:

A) making huge money through sponsorship

B) selling players for actual significant sums of money

C) let every single one of our high earners go

A) will only work if we somehow gatecrash the sky 6 and play regular football in Europe. Stadium will help but will be nowhere near enough to help us succeed

There are a lot of fans who want us to lose at the moment, it’s quite shocking.

I haven’t felt that way since the final days of Martinez, Koeman, Silva and Benitez.
What? On what basis have you wrote such nonsense. Have an opinion but don’t say stupid things. Any Everton fan I know is desperate for a win. Don’t talk garbage.

Anyone still be pissed if we ended the window like this? (Ignoring injuries)

Could shift 2x CB's and maybe 1x CM if Iwobi is only out for the 3 weeks.

I would be. I actually think we put far too much emphasis on the wingers. We 100% need another striker, but I would say we also need 2 x full backs and a number 10.

Most attacking teams rely heavily on the threat of their full backs. This in turn creates space for wingers. Ours carry zero threat. Look at Almiron. Put a decent RB behind him in Trippier and suddenly he is a world beater. Look at Chelsea without James and Chilwell. Completely changes their attacking threat. Our wingers will look better with better Full backs. Not against signing the wingers mentioned, but would prefer FBs...

We also don't have anyone resembling a proper number 10. Someone who can pick a pass and get a winger behind the lines. Again we don't have that now which also doesn't help our current wingers. Also someone who could take a set piece would be nice!

I think after a striker, 2 full backs and a creative midfielder. In fact, Newcastle signed Wood, Trippier, Burn, Targett and Guimares last Jan. It certainly worked for them....

It will certainly increase the turnover, but we need to have as many sponsorship options as possible throughout the club so we can maximise income. the higher up in the league we finish the better calibre of sponsor we will be able to attract. Main thing though is having a sensible wage structure, stop with the silly contracts.

Neither of them are strikers or prolific enough…..we need strikers to get some goals in this team.

Oh and a decent playmaker too
Whether we like it or not I think they're gonna put all hopes into Calvert Lewin staying fit and getting into good form. Get these 2 in on loan and then try to get some outgoings to generate something to spend on a creative midfielder like you said. Not a perfect setup by any means but hopefully it can get us to 17th and then just reset (again) in the Summer.

So, are things actually looking like they are starting to happen?

Have we passed the mulling stage, have we gone big now and is that even in our boards dictionary?

They're just odd. I can't really explain it but I think if you watch it makes sense. I'm not saying he's a bad finisher.
yeah fair enough, I get what you mean. He is what he is - a decent wide forward with pace. Definitely more of a consistent goal threat than our other wingers but probably not the answer to the creativity issues.

I agree about the fullback point. Some creativity from there actually makes our current midfield more viable. Although some additional creativity from there obviously welcome.
