Begovic will get a new contract due to Pickford's impending £15m move to Spurs once our relegation is confirmed. But he'll be a steady enough goalkeeper in the Championship next season. Doubt we can sell any of those - possibly Holgate and Virginia only the only realistic ones due to the others' wages (Gomes, Keane, Dele) / board probably considering them good for our promotion push next season (Maupay, McNeil) / the fact they are just crap (Gbamin).

However, new Uefa rules introduced in June limit clubs' spending on wages, transfers and agents' fees to 70% of their revenue, though permitted losses over a three-year period have risen to 60m euros (£49.96m).

Clubs have been given three years to implement these changes.

I would prefer to have keane and holgate over coady and tarkowski any day of the week mate.

I can go over fixtures of the keane/holgate parterniship over the last few seasons and find multiple clean sheets and both of those players bag goals particularly keane who is a very good threat on set pieces. And both have good distribution

Coady keeps playing people onside all the time. Both coady and tarkowskis distribution is horrendous and tarkowski has as many mistakes in him as keane does but difference is pickford has bailed him out so people forget them.

They are meant to be leaders at the back the current centre backs but they have overseen one of the worst runs of form in our history and can't buy a clean sheet. If I was the next manager of everton the centre backs would be the first thing I would be addressing as play isn't getting built up well from the back. Coady or tarkowski just hoof it to the other team or out of play. Not good enough
