Wish Andros was back and fit again. When we had him, Gray and Doucs fit at the start of last season we had the ability to hit teams on the break.

We had a few good results early on.
Good performance at Brighton,
Who had finsjed 16th the season before, beat Burnley who got relegated, beat Southampton who were down there with us, beat Norwhich who got relegated. Then a credible draw at old Trafford that was October.

After that Townsend was poor and didn’t get another goal, think gray got 2 more all season. And Doucoure was atrocious.

It would be very ambitious but Rodrigo De Paul has fallen out with Simeone at Atletico Madrid. I thought it would be unrealistic until Wolves signed his teammate for £40m and Felix going to Chelsea.

Gordon also has not been creative at all. He wasn't last season. He ranked as one of the worst wingers in the league in every creative metric.

Lampard's system doesn't help because in the final third there's seemingly no patterns of play, it's very much off the cuff - though he has said he wants his players to be attacking the back post more.

But then you're relying on players who are simply bad to carry it out, too.
