After Saturday we don’t play for two weeks so if we don’t sign anyone before Friday then don’t expect anyone before deadline day.

I don't think that is correct.

I think that if the primary targets are not available now the club is prepared to wait because there is only the one game before the window closes.

I do believe there will be transfer activity , the manager has suggested as much.

If the activity is worthwhile remains to be seen.

West Ham are performing way below where they should be, they’ve got some good players and options in midfield and forward positions. Crazy how it’s just fallen apart for Moyes this season - think they could legitimately expect a new manager bounce, they’re massively underperforming.

Big time.

However...Moyes has form with us for being in the same situation and kicking on around this time.

Brereton-Diaz isnt the player we want from Blackburn anyway, I'd sooner have Bradley Dack and he'd be cheap, he is a playmaker in central midfield that covers the entire pitch and puts in a shift. Him and Onana in central midfield would be the way forward, but obviously only if we had a striker that isnt made of paper

He is made out of paper, Dack has had 3 ACL injuries, most Everton signing ever.

It would be very ambitious but Rodrigo De Paul has fallen out with Simeone at Atletico Madrid. I thought it would be unrealistic until Wolves signed his teammate for £40m and Felix going to Chelsea.

They're having a clear-out and a little loan to the PL could be what he needs.
