I don't think that is correct.

I think that if the primary targets are not available now the club is prepared to wait because there is only the one game before the window closes.

I do believe there will be transfer activity , the manager has suggested as much.

If the activity is worthwhile remains to be seen.

The point am making is we haven’t done any so far so we won’t waste a signing just for 1 game before the window shuts. You normally get a game right before the window shuts but this year we aren’t so clubs won’t be in a rush to make moves.

I don't get the criticism of Tarkowski and Coady who have both been excellent for us. Our problems are all the others that are not among these 2, Pickford, Onana and (for the main part) Gray.

Tarkowski has been ok. I think Coady has been meh bar a few games at the start of the season.

You missed out Gana and Onana, they have both improved us too.
We are much better defensively now than we were last season.

The other 3 you are spot on, Maupay and Mcneill were never going to help us improve up front and that is the area which is causing us to second bottom

Mate, we're the worst team in the league. We're not improved in any way, shape or form. We've got a championship squad, a championship manager and a national league executive.

Garner didn't cost £50m though, he cost up to £15m and he's a great talent and we need depth in the middle.

Last season we ended on a GA 66 and GD -23. This season after 19 we are GA 23 and GD -11. I think we will be quite close to last seasons stats by the end of the season or a very tiny improvement.

I forgot Gana to be fair. I didn't want to add Onana in case being listed next to McNeil and Maupay rubbed off on him haha.

I was aiming at the idiot who signed McNeil and Maupay. As for Garner, it is disappointing as he only plays 6 games so far this season. He doesn’t make a better impact as I would imagine, odd ball lol.
