Saints, like some other lower end clubs sign players people don’t know, something our fans won’t except. People were going mad in the summer and this month when Ings was mentioned, now he’s gone to West Ham people are going mad about missing out.

We should sell Pickford if we can get decent money for him.

We have a reserve keeper who's played over 200 games in the Premier League and is a good keeper. Using the money bought in to buy a decent\striker and or midfielder will improve our points tally far more than sticking with what we have and loaning in some naff players who are past it.

I think if there were serious bids we'd have to consider them to reinvest in forwards, although time is now ticking and it would be hard to persuade players in the door at this stage. I'm not sure any serious bids will arrive though, I suspect clubs like Spurs who might be interested will look to change keepers in the summer rather than now.

Some said in here a few weeks ago West Ham were under ffp scrutiny, but hasn’t stopped them it seems. 430mil in debt on spending over the last 6/7 yrs compared to our 250mil. Kenwright is waiting to the very last minute to try execute deals, isn't he? Or he's at least influenced Thewell to do this. I'm sure he did e same with Brands.
