Everton loses £100m a season on their current turnover.

They have very few players that could be sold to other Premier League clubs.

They have a wage bill of around £150m, with around £300m in guaranteed payments going out to players over the remainder of their contracts.

The average Championship club has a total wage bill of £25m and still loses £13m a year.

In short if they are relegated they will be totally reliant on Moshiri funding the losses and the authorities allowing them to run at such a loss.

They then have to balance the risk of adding more players to the current situation - Ings on £120k a week for 3 years and a £15m fee is a £32m total package with no resale value.

There are going to be some very tough times ahead of the club.

Looks like he’s talking about club instability not the fans

Still, the way he worded it wasn’t great. It was the same back in the August games, no forwards in and now here we are again despite months to plan for it including a World Cup.

What’s also concerning is the lack of recognition by many for creativity, we bring only one forward in who’s creating the chances?

Months to prepare and this is said. Feel like giving up honestly, it’s beyond farce

Yeah what was the reason for not having anyone in in the first week of January? Was that the fans fault too, can these players see into the future and saw what was coming? Did the fans spend £35m on McNeil and Maupay leaving us no wriggle room with FFP this window? Utter rats trying to blame the fans AGAIN for their own incompetence.

Don’t let up, keep the protests up, keep the pressure on them.

In his defence I don’t think he’s having a go at the fans , he seems to have been fairly supportive.
