United block Elanga's Everton loan

Manchester United have blocked Everton’s bid to sign Anthony Elanga on loan because of their concerns over the 'climate' at Goodison Park, reports the Daily Star.

The paper claims Frank Lampard was keen to take Elanga to Goodison Park for the rest of the season in a bid to boost his attacking options. Lampard is desperate to land reinforcements as he battles to save Everton from relegation this season.

But it adds United boss Erik ten Hag is not willing to let Swedish international Elanga go to Everton, due to concerns about what the current climate at Goodison Park might do to Elanga's development and progress.

Or...play for Dortmund and Champions League football?

Mmmm. Denise been hitting the papers again?

Come on mate you're better than this.

Because we completely messed up the deal, we can’t recall or we lose the money, which we won’t end up getting anyway.
One of the worst transfer deals I can remember.
Getting two years of loan fees with a guaranteed 25m at the end of it for a player that never did a jot for us is one of the best transfer deals we’ve done in recent years.

Eh?

That loan deal to get rid of Kean which becomes permanent is probably the best deal that Brands did while he was here

We got a loan fee each season to cover his amortisation costs and his wages covered, then at the end of two years we sell a player with a book value of about £5 million for £25 million - it's an absolute belter of a deal, especially given the situation we were in with him not wanting to come back here.

“The cutrent climate off the field” is definitely aimed at the fans.

He is the master of sitting on the fence but mask slipped there

off the pitch as in financial matters and what not. I don't see him blaming the fans. oner thing I will say is why would a player come to us currently when he see's videos of the fans surrounding cars as they leave. that wasn't good for us

with all the stupidity of the crap the board saying there was threats and other stuff we know didn't happen a select few fans now played into that narrative. the board need to go

Moise Kean scoring again. Can we not bring him back?
no good in a relegation dogfight. would have no interest in returning.
the player and club didn't fit. I'm sure it wasn't all keans fault. this club undoubtedly has its favourites who haven't performed for year on year yet still get game time. kean will win trophies with other clubs

That's a relief, as I have concerns over his ability, Erik.
