They must be handing out Scottish caps easily then.

As I say, I cant vouch for him, but cheap and on the rise defenders from Scotland seems the way forward.

Maybe not with this one. ?‍♂️

He's got one cap, it came in a bit of a dead rubber with Ukraine where they had a number of injuries at CB anyway. He hasn't come close otherwise - didn't even get on for the friendly with Turkey

His contract is up this summer, that's why he's cheap

The player has already agreed to join a club that have an option to buy. Personal terms have already been agreed. Otherwise, it’s not an option to buy, and wouldn’t be described as such.

If this is true, and we are making losses like this, then there is no need to worry about leveraged buyouts imo. There simply isn’t enough money available to repay the leveraged funding.

I wonder if it includes the new stadium expenditure or not? If it doesn’t, then our real losses are no doubt far greater than 70 million.

Personally, I find it hard to believe that we were on course for a 120 million pound loss prior to the sale of Richarlison. Benitez spent nothing last summer, and January’s spending was offset by the sale of Digne.

I think he'll have his choice of clubs and it wont be Everton he chooses.

You're preposterous.
I am not so sure that it is his choice. Usually when teams have option to buy then it's up to the club really not the player himself. We could buy him for 4 and selling nearly instantly for 10 plus if he really wants to leave.

No idea on his working out.

We are carrying a lot of average passengers on ridiculous wages and until they're all gone then we will be losing money evey year. Hopefully 22 23 looks better having shipped a few out, but there are still a couple that needs to go. Even those on loan I am sure we are paying a big part of their salary...we need to do better commercially which will be possible with the new stadium...until then it's survival at all cost.
