Sadly like Danjuma we can offer a stop gap and shop window in the worlds biggest league, loan, decent wage no obligation or option and they can look again in a bigger market in the summer for a better move.

This is sadly what we can offer and what we have become.
In an ideal world I would hope that we would be able to attract and find value in the market that would appreciate with sell on potential and keep us in the division. That said the club are in extreme disarray and peril and currently fairly unconvincing in recruitment. The argument that they should be casting off now the likes of Gordon (although that should have already happened) Pickford etc at Premier league rates to then be re-invested post a drop is also worthy of discussion considering how bad we appear.

That said if it is a full push to survival and we can fetch loans that create a pathway to survival however slim, it seem the most viable way to safety. Mainly as it sustains present value across the squad come the summer at premier league evaluations to then have a major overhaul. In Danjuma and Ziyech I actually think its preferred to a permanent as both arent great values longterm but possibly better than we could attract be it poor scouting or appearing a dead man walking for the championship. If we need mercenaries to stay in the premier league considering we look like damaged goods to players, so be it.

But a conversation of selling now in plans for the drop is equally deserving.

His 6 assists in the premier league (ever) will no doubt be replicated at Everton.
Whilst I understand the sentiment here, barring Lukaku, Chelsea haven’t had that aerially dominant striker (please correct if wrong?), from what I’ve seen Ziyech does have a nice cross on him - Dom had 20 goals last time there was so decent delivery from out wide. All we’d need is consistent delivery from the right from him. Admittedly I’m not sure how much of a defensive shift he’d put in. I’d have him on loan but doubt chelsea would sanction it

Originally from Edinburgh so I follow Hearts as well. If we're skint, why not look at someone like Lawrence Shankland. 20 goals this season, 15 in his last 14 and works his arse off as well. Just scored another cracking goal in against hibs, cutting in from the left. We've normally done alright with signings from hearts, Alex Young, Davie Weir and Gary Naismith
