This is spreading around now thank Christ. Clear the lad's attitude stinks and he thinks he's much better than he is, club are also to blame for massaging his ego for the past 12 months. In terms of academy products I thought Barkley was crap but Gordon would be lucky to have half the career that he had. With Lampard out the picture now we can take the money and run, try to reinvest it and convince Bielsa to come with it. Shame that we didn't take the stupid money in the Summer but that was a Lampard problem by the sounds of it. This team loses absolutely nothing at the moment by selling him so it's the best thing possible.
