As Mcneil was signed as a wing option in the summer, Gordon was kept because he was seen as the future and in the club's heads everything will be fine when Calvert Lewin is fit (which isn't something that actually survives contact with reality), I don't have any faith in whoever is making the transfer decisions to pick the right players. Also, Moyes didn't want Danjuma, likely to do with personality. Something he was undoubtedly good at when here.

If we feel we have to go with Dyche style, we'll need different players and we have hardly any money. I'm not in a rush to see them sign someone before the manager is in place, its just repeating the old cycles

We have already got two of his old centre backs and a winger so already got the makings of a team

We do have pace out wide (Gray/Gordon) at the back (Godfrey/Patterson)...
