Talented but quite raw, high potential upside for the right fee.
Lorient are a well-run club and are selling their two best forward players (Moffi and Outtara) in this window, and have chosen Dieng as one of the replacements (a makeweight in the transfer of Moffi to Marseile).

Reading this thread, both clubs seemed ready to sign off on the transfer until late Everton (and perhaps Southampton) interest, and so Dieng's agent is holding fire for the moment to see if an official bid comes in. Dieng was valued at €8-9m within that deal, so may be looking for a larger fee from a Premier League club.
