I have a feeling we're not the quickest at trying to push a transfer through mate.

The way I see it is we could try be more pushy and risk losing his interest, or give him time to go over the deal and iron stuff out. Little did we know the scumbag had an ulterior motive. In hindsight we should have said sign now or sod off, but then the club would be slammed and he'd have signed for Spurs either way.
