Not defending Gordon at all here , I think he’s been poor this season. I’ll gladly apologise if I’m wrong, this narrative or the reports of this are just too convenient for me.

Dieng has Lorient medical​

Bamba Dieng has had a medical at Lorient as the French club continue to explore a deal to sign him.

As it stands, the move that would see Dieng plus cash go to Lorient and Terem Moffi go to Marseille is looking increasingly unlikely.

Moffi’s preference is to go to Nice, who have yet to strike a final agreement with Lorient.

Lorient are exploring a deal to sign Dieng WITHOUT Moffi involved. It is thought Marseille would want a replacement if he was to leave.

Everton are one of a number of Premier League clubs interested in Dieng – and are keeping an eye on his situation.
