A replacement for Doucore would be top of my list. Have we even won a game when he's been out injured or suspended since Dyche has come in? Dele is never going to get there and we don't have anyone else with the pace and energy in that position. Scour the French leagues (or all leagues) for another young raw box to box player who will run all day and cause havoc.

I've not read much of this thread but surely this has to be the case.

We are on the limits of everything from PSR compliance, to day to day operating cashflow, to monthly payday loans. We have enough to ensure survival over the half-season left, why risk our solvency for what would undoubtedly be overpaid and underperforming has-beens.

Sell Brathwaite or Onana and there may be some movement but even then it will likely be deadline day sale so I'd rather not throw the cash in a panic-buy.

Only loans in and sales out if possible, maybe Godfrey or Holgate out.

If Danjuma leaves we will need another squad player also
 
Across all of the leagues there must be somebody available on loan who would improve us? But no actual money, and maybe for once the parent club can subsidise them being at Goodison rather than vice versa?
 

The farce that is P&S and FFP laid bare, with us being unable to make any meaningful signings, even after we’ve cut the cloth the last few windows and weakened the squad considerably.

The harshness of the punishment we got will make other teams off the 14 reluctant to do much business, but watch the scabs spend like sailors yet again.

I mean the rules did massively change that's why they (and others) can do it now. Nothing to do with corruption.

I mean, until Dyche came in, Doucoure only had like 5 in 80 or something for us.

And McNeil scored 4 in his last 120 at Burnley.

Take those sort of stats with a pinch of salt as things can change quickly.

Not really, McNeil has had a fluke 6 months last season, he’s on 2 so far so will be a surprise if he beats last season now. And McNeil is a young player who plays on the wing so should be scoring more than 1 or 2 a season.

And doucoure scored goals at Watford. There’s been no indication that brownhill can play off the striker.
