….the same Thelwell that brought in Maupay, Beto and Chermiti (n)

Brought through Branthwaite and brought in Tarkowski, Garner & Onana.

It appears as though he's a decent DOF with a clear weakspot at CF.

Not sure whats wrong with Chermiti...

Until he starts getting some regular involvement with the International setup Id highly doubt we get some of the daft fee's some on here seem to think. He has had one proper season of PL football and I think will go for around £60-70m and Onana will be a bit more due to regular involvement with Belgium. The £150m that was mentioned for both (£75m each I'm guessing) is a very good number and Id be astonished if we got anymore than that.

If it was £75mil each when weve seen Caicedo & Rice go for north of £100mil each then its lowballing on Onana. We'd end up with £66.6mil and imo we'd need £75mil+ after paying Lille their 20% on profit.

That would give us some firepower.

As for Branthwaite, its only a matter of time until he plays for England then its a £125mil price tag or no deal.

Both their values will continue to increase & we need them.

Gutted :(

That's just your opinion when it comes to Onana, he has all the ability but he doesn't show it enough, Rice is a far better player anyway. Also no CB will ever go for over £100m imo and even if they do it won't be Branthwaite (not yet in his career) He is still relatively inexperienced at this level, you need to be a bit more realistic with your valuations and also remember where we are as a club. Both will get good fees but they won't be record ones like you're suggesting imo.

If only we were clever enough to keep him until then, sadly...........

Yup, id be surprised if he got called up to the Euro's squad, GS is pretty rigid with his picks and I reckon he will have his squad in mind and then come the summer I do think sadly the bids will come flooding in for him.

Hes surely making a friendly game between now and then though, its hard to see a better centre half in the league.

That said they don't pick JT - which boggles my mind a bit to be honest.

Honestly selling Branthwaite, would be just about be up there with the impact of selling Rooney for me, be devasted, hes something very special.

Never forgive or forget what Moshiri has done to this club.
Everyone has their reasonable price

Problem is Everton is a soft touch in the transfer market because we've been run by idiots
