No, of course not - its the media that portray the fans as these george cross flag wavers, and that ' its our year '. I'm just indirectly sniping at them - not the England fans.
 
Seem to have touched a few nerves. I wasn't having a go at people who had a go at the performance today. Of course, I moan about England being [Poor language removed] as much as anyone. But all this anti-England stuff because Steven Gerrard plays for them or JT or whoever is just ridiculous. If you're English get behind the lads.

End of the day, when its a major tournament, and the domestic season is over, Im just as passionate about England as I am about Everton.

I always thought it better to start slow and as the tournament gets going then get better, which is the reason why the big teams don't do well in these friendlies and you see the likes of NZ winning against Serbia, they are just warming up.

Exactly this. Yeah we were awful against japan but so were Spain against Saudi Arabia and Portugal against Cape Verde islands.

Id much rather us be rubbish now than in a few weeks time.

Come on England.
 

Laughing at England here, this summer's exit is going to be wonderful. Just wonderful.

Not much difference between fans of the [Poor language removed] and England to be honest.

I really dont care how England do, but that doesn't mean I want them to do badly. I guess that sorta makes me a fan, and therefore you've basically labelled me a kopite.
So take it back. Only most England fans are that bad

I think English people who aren't supporting or dont care about the world cup are in the minority, so Im gonna ignore the comparison to Kopites. The England national team is where football supporters come together and unite and forget about the silly squabbling between clubs. Red or Blue, Black or White doesnt matter, everyones in the same boat willing the team to do well. If it can get a West Ham and a Millwall fan being civil for a month then it cant be bad.
