Made up for the lad.

Hes come on, made an utter pigs ear on his debut, kept his head down not let him faze him and prowling round the pitch like a G.

He committed a foul in a position that should’ve been non-threatening, I mean Lucas Digne gives away 6 free kicks a game on the edge of our box but no one ever calls him out on it.

everyone says it's the worst thing he does for us.

Type of signing we should keep making. They either get in the team or can be sold at profit. Win win. This lad looks good from initial signs though, seems to back himself. Him and Holgate might be a far more confident duo that Keane and Mina.

To be fair to Marcel Brands and ive critiqued him of late, is that he has been dealing with an academy ban since hes been here. Jarrod just fitted the profile as a pro i think, which let us slip in there.

If the wages are ok then we should be aiming to sign 3 players each season who are 17/18/19 and earmarked for rapid development.

The fees can be much higher as well...i mean for these types who could likely be squad players first its better than having Delph or whoever else taking massive wages each week.

In fairness we have been making this type of signing regularly in recent years, currently we’ve got Josh Bowler, Denis Adeniran , Nanthangelo Markelo, Lewis Gibson who all cost money and we’ve also bought and moved on Bassala Sambou and Matty Foulds in recent years . Certainly no profit on the last two , and with their wages I doubt if we’ll get much profit on the others unless they make the first team . It’s a good policy though as DCL , Holgate and Stones have proved.
An additional positive from Branthwait’s appearances is that it will likely help to recruit other youngsters who see they’ll get a chance with us , like recent signing Niels Nkounkou.

To be fair to goat, think he meant more that jarrad was caught on the wrong side of deodoncker for the goal. But other than that, he had a steady debut.
