If we have to sell him then sell him for loads, and include another sell on clause for loads for all future transfers.
We should make loads then!
Now Bill has departed who do we think is making the deals at the moment?

He’s a far better defender than Stones.Yeah…sadly he’s just that good it’s only a matter of time.
Hard to escape the thought he’s Stones natural successor, but really hope we see him wear our blue at BMD before he helps pay for it.
Realistically, his fee should be less than the record fee for a Defender which is 80m for Harry Maguire.Realistically what’s his value ??
100m ??
Given his contract length it’s going to take something excessive
I reckon 65m and we fold like a paper bag in the rain.50-60m and we'd say yes. Thats my guess based on absolutely nothing at all.
They’re different players but yes he’s already ahead in some areas & his ceiling is right up there. He’s a far better defender than Stones.
We didn’t see the best of Stones while he was here, there were still several holes in his game. They’re different players but yes he’s already ahead in some areas & his ceiling is right up there.
That’s not knocking Stones at all who I’ve always thought is a magnificent footballer and should continue to be for many more years.
There were valid criticisms of Stones as he was developing here. But only a few couldn’t see he was going to be a top drawer defender. We didn’t see the best of Stones while he was here, there were still several holes in his game.
Not many names come to mind recently who have established themselves this early in their PL careers the way Branthwaite has. John Terrry maybe? I’m sure I’m forgetting others, but his consistency (small sample size, mind you) is extraordinary
