I often wonder with the Godfrey signing. Did those looking at him manage to catch Norwich on the day they were not conceding bucket loads.
Wether it was being set up before. Godfrey signed under the DOF of brands. Maybe brands should have stepped in and said we are paying way to much for this player.

If I am being honest, I am not too wedded to the idea of holding on to a 21 year old defender (or midfielder in Onana) as long (and this is a big caveat) the funds are invested wisely elsewhere which makes the team stronger and more potent. Wee would just need to get good value out of the transaction.
