I am sure we have been trying to get him to sign a new contract, but no success it seems so far. I hope that I am wrong and he ends up signing a new contract, but I still feel that he thinks that he is too good for this football club.

I'm not sure we have. Was out on loan, didn't know what league we were in etc.

He's playing regularly now, and a hefty wage increase would be very tempting for him.

2014 John Stones played against Norwich, that was the game you sat up took notice & realised he was going to the top, Jarrad gives the same vibes, his rise will be similar to Bellingham, gonna be world class, Real Madrid bound within 2 seasons

Steady on. He’s older than Bellingham.

I think he’ll certainly move upwards from Everton but world class is a big ask.

Hes got stones ability but with a calm and composed head , not too much of a big ego (yet) looks promising
I mean, I like what I see so far but comparing him to Stones is a stretch. Stones was absolutely incredible on the ball from virtually the first moment he played and has gone on to be an absolute superstar. I can’t really think of any central defenders who are more composed on the ball than him. He’s better than most midfielders. Branthwaite is more of a true defender who is comfortable in possession but nothing more. He’s not ever playing fullback or midfield pivot which Stones has done with ease in his career.

Physically more developed than stones for me.
He’s bigger certainly bigger. Not sure on pace. Stones is still a massively underestimated player. He is a centre back but I can’t think of any other centre back that is better on the ball. He is easily good enough to play midfield pivot for a champions league team and is way better on the ball than the likes of Rice, Henderson etc. He’s a unique player. Branthwaite is more of a proper defender who can play a big. Looks good but very early days.
