2024/25 Jarrad Branthwaite

Any coincidence we win when's he back in the starting line up..
Based on the game itself, I think it's quite simplistic as others did well in their individual areas, but equally he did play well and helped save us once or twice.

Would that have been the difference? Who knows... but I know I felt better with him being there, so I would suspect the other players on the pitch would have too.

I know you're joking but honestly Branthwaite changes the way we play, our midfield is further up, he moves out of defence to pressure the ball off their midfield stops them settling. He's also more dominant in the air (even though that's probably a Kean strong point). His passing is also much faster and more progressive, Keane dawdles on the ball all the time (big part of his issues imo as he then gets pressed).

I know it's all obvious but I'm just happy to not be watching Keane!

Not kidding. Tarks prefers him by miles it's obvious .
And Keane out.
Exactly..

When you watch him it's frightening, where are his weaknesses? He's 6'5", as tough as teak, dominant in the air, blessed with great pace, two footed and very comfortable on the ball. United really were taking the mickey offering £40 million for him. If, as expected, the takeover goes ahead, we have a small chance of getting him to sign a new contract and if not, we can now afford to say, "well this is the price we will sell him for, if you're not prepared to pay that then you can't buy him."
